Full job description
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and responsible Home Child Care Provider to provide quality childcare and support within a private household. The successful candidate will ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children while assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and light housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities
Supervise and care for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
Assist children with daily routines and personal hygiene.
Prepare children for rest periods.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment.
Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence.
Encourage positive behaviour and age-appropriate activities.
Required Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
7 months to less than 1 year of childcare experience.
Valid CPR Certificate.
Valid First Aid Certificate.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Authorization to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience caring for children in a home setting.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexible and dependable.
