Full job description

Provide full-time care and supervision for children in the employer’s private home. The Home Child Care Provider will support the children’s daily needs, safety, development, meals, activities, and general well-being while helping maintain a clean and healthy home environment.

Schedule of Work : 9:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Supervise and care for children
Help children with homework

Required Qualifications

English language ability; secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience; and 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Client-focused, organized, patient, honest, and able to manage time effectively.
