Full job description
Provide in-home support and personal care to a client in a private residence. The Home Support Worker will assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, medication, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and other routine care needs. The position requires a caring, patient, organized, and dependable individual who can provide safe and respectful support.

Responsibilities
Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist with regular exercise, such as walking
Launder clothing and household linens
Mend clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Required Qualifications
Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to work on-site at the employer’s residence
Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Punctual, organized, patient, and client-focused
Able to demonstrate initiative and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience providing home support or personal care
Experience assisting elderly individuals or persons requiring daily living support
Knowledge of safe personal care and hygiene practices
Experience preparing nutritious meals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate and respectful approach to client care
Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
